Margot is a small wine and espresso bar that showcases the very best of Canberra with a distinctly cosmopolitan euro flavour, in an iconic setting right by the lake.
Anytime you stop by Margot you’ll relax into the experience - be it for quality espresso in the AM or hand picked wines, cocktails, curated cheeses and pizza in the PM.
Our vision is to create a welcoming and relaxing space where you can unwind with a satisfying drink.
We keep most of our tables free for walk ins, but allow some tables to be booked for groups over 4 for our PM service.

Open Monday to Sunday from 6:30am/7:00am to 2:00pm.
Mornings at Margot are for coffee by the lake, pastries, toasties and juices. Perfect before work, after a run, or as a quiet moment on the waterfront.
PM at Margot
Friday from 4:00pm until after sunset.
Saturday and Sunday from 12:00pm until evening.
Afternoons and evenings shift into wines, cocktails, spritzes and relaxed lakeside drinks with pizza and snacks. Some nights feature live music or DJs, so check our socials for what’s on and when.
